Sire
The Australian Labradoodle is a hybrid between the poodle, Labrador Retriever, Irish Water Dog, Curly Coated Retriever, and American and English Cocker Spaniel. The Australian Labradoodle is characterized by their gentle good humour and easy-going nature, they have a great desire to be part of the family making them very easy to train and a joy to include in your family.
Dam
The Goldendoodle is a hybrid between the Poodle and Golden Retriever. They are cheerful, trustworthy, gentle, affectionate, smart and highly trainable family companion that have a keen desire to please. They are social dogs and are at their happiest around people.
Rufus from 4 Weeks to 2 Years Old
His Coat
Rufus’ coat is non-shedding (very minimal hair loss when brushed). It is silky soft to the touch.
It grows in relaxed curls that spiral when grown long into a shaggy look.
It can be clipped very short. Usually in the Summer months to keep him cool.
It requires regular checks to keep on top of matting.
His coat requires a thorough comb twice a week to keep it in top condition when short and three to four times if shaggy. I shampoo him once a month or just prior to grooming.
Temperment
Rufus is very sociable. He is a loving dog who enjoys the company of people and dogs alike.
He loves to cuddle up on the sofa in the evening.
He is intellegant and obedient.
He behaves well around children of all ages.
Rufus is a medium/high energy level dog and needs 50-60 mins of high energy running / walk per day.
An ideal family dog.
